Privacy policy

Octacon Trades collects the information you give us to run your job: your name, contact details, the job description, photos you upload, and your suburb and address. We use it for exactly one purpose — connecting you with tradies and running the job through to completion.

Tradies quoting on your job see your first name, suburb and the job details. Your full street address and phone number are shared only with the tradie whose quote you accept. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to marketing call centres.

Tradies signing up provide business details, licence numbers and insurance documents. We store these to run the verification program, and we display verification status (never the underlying documents) to customers.

Emails we send are limited to the job lifecycle: confirmations, quote notifications, and a review request after completion. Job links are private tokens; anyone you share your link with can view the job page.

You can ask us to delete your account or job data at any time by emailing info@octacontrades.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
